Telangana to raise Pattiseema before GRMB

Hyderabad, Aug 21: The Telangana state government has decided to raise the issue of Pattiseema Irrigation Project in the Godavari River Management Board(GRMB) meeting to be held here on August 27. The government has opposed the project alleging that the project was taken up with out seeking approval from Central Water Commission. The TS demanded additional quota of 40 tmc of water in Krishna river as AP diverted Godavari water to Krishna through Pattiseema. It may be noted that AP government has already complained Krishna River Board Mangement Board against Palamuru lift irrigation scheme and Dindi projects.
