Spelling error rattles Smriti Irani, probe ordered

Hyderabad, August 21: Spelling mistakes appeared on the letters sent on behalf of Union Education Minister Smriti Irani. The Minister today ordered an inquiry into the matter. Smriti Irani had sent appreciation letters to all CBSE teachers for the better performance of their students. In that letter, 'minister' and 'sansadhan' (resources) were written incorrectly. A teacher, Richa Kumari of Delhi Public School highlighted the errors in a Facebook post. She posted the letter highlighting the spelling errors, which went viral on social media. Responding immediately Minister Smriti Irani directed the officials to inquire how such errors crept into her official letter.
