AP Assembly session in Hyd: Kodela

Tirupati, Aug 20: Legislative Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao has announced that next session of Andhra Pradesh Assembly would be held in Hyderabad. Speaking to the media in Tirumala, Kodela said that there were certain problems in conducting Assembly session in places other than Hyderabad. Assembly and Raj Bhavan buildings would be given priority while constructing capital city, Kodela added. He said that administration would be shifted to Vijayawada as quickly as possible. Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and some other leaders mooted the idea to conduct Assembly session in Visakhapatnam. MLA Pithani Satyanarayana and others visited GITAM and Andhra University in the city to find a suitable venue but the proposal was abruptly dropped.
