Don't acquire land forcibly: Pawan
Hyderabad, Aug 14: Jana Sena party Chief and Telugu film actor Pawan Kalyan has opposed forcible land acquisition for capital city Amaravati.
On Thursday, he Tweeted against the government's move to go for forcible land acquisition in the villages that are opposing land pooling for Amaravati.
The actor urged the Telugu Desam Party government not to use Land Acquisition Act against those who refused to part with their lands for the capital city.
He hoped the government would resolve the land acquisition issue amicably. It may be noted that Pawan Kalyan has earlier warned that he would go on an indefinite strike if the government tries to acquire land forcibly.
