Father of cycle industry passes away

Hyderabad, August 13: Om Prakash Munjal (87), Co-Chairman of Hero Cycles Limited died in Ludhiana today. He was popular as the father of cycle industry. He breathed his last in Hero Heart Institute of Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in the morning, family members said. His cremation will take place in the Model Town Extension Cremation ground in Ludhiana at 5 pm on Friday. He had been under treatment since a few days due to ill health. He is survived by one son and three daughters.
