IIM-Vizag to start operations from Sep 14
Visakhapatnam, Aug 11: HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao has said that the Indian Institute of Management(IIM) Visakhapatnam will start its operations from September 14. The full-fledged building of IIM Vizag will come up on a 300-acre site at Gambheeram in the city. Till then, classes would be conducted from Andhra Bank School of Business on the premises of Andhra University. The AU has also assured to provide accommodation to girl students as IIM courses are residential programmes. The IIM will offer two-year full time post graduate programme in management. IIM-Bengaluru is the mentor institute for Visakhapatnam campus and the class rooms are designed as per 'Semi-circle Gallery model'.
