First priority to OC women in TS govt jobs

Hyderabad, Aug 11: The Telangana government has given roster point No 1 to Open Category (OC) women. It may be noted that all the departments have to follow roster points while selecting candidates for jobs and vacancies should be filled in the order of roster points 1 to 25. The roster points devised by the earlier governments for determining reservation to SC, ST, BC, OC and minorities candidates while filling government jobs were scrapped. According to reports, the government will soon fill 25,000 vacancies as per the new roster points. With this changes women from Open Categories (OC) will get first priority in jobs in all departments.
