Kidnapped lecturers' families meet Venkaiah Naidu
New Delhi/Hyderabad, August 10: The family members of Gopikrishna and Balaram, the lecturers kidnapped by IS militants in Libya, today met Central Minister Venkaiah Naidu. They requested the Minister to take steps for the safe release of the two lecturers. Four Indian lecturers were abducted by Islamic State militants in Libya on July 29. T Gopikrishna, Balaram, Lakshmikant and Vijay Kumar were kidnapped from the taxi they were travelling. Lakshmikant and Vijay Kumar were released while Gopikrishna and Balaram are still in the clutches of militants.
