All poor should live happily: Chandrababu

Visakhapatnam/Hyderabad, August 10: "From now-onwards, there is no need for the people to come to the offices. The officials will come to your houses and give the details of your lands," assured Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He participated in 'Mee Intiki Mee Bhoomi' programme at Sankaram village in Anakapalli mandal on Monday. He further said that a website was launched specially for this purpose. With this, all the land disputes could be solved easily. People will know the details of their land. Aadhaar cards will be linked with revenue records, there by putting an end to irregularities. Reminding bogus passbooks that came to light in Anantapur district, Chandrababu Naidu said he will not tolerate irregularities and those who will do these will be meted with imprisonment. He said that the government had give 42 per cent fitment to government employees and increased the retirement age from 58 to 60 years. Now it is the duty of the officials to work corruption-free. There should not be any middlemen in implementing government welfare schemes. "Our aim is to fill their lives with light by providing benefits to all the poor," he said.
