Police issues summons to Radhe Maa in dowry harassment case
Mumbai/Hyderabad, August 10: The Mumbai police have issued summons to the self-styled 'god-woman' Radhe Maa, regarding dowry harassment case.
She was summoned to attend for the interrogation at Kandivali police station on August 14.
Radhe Maa, who left Mumbai a few days ago, has returned to Mumbai on Sunday. The police issued summons on Sunday night and will record her statement.
A 32-year-old woman complained against Radhe Maa that the latter pressurised her in-laws to demand more dowry from the complainant.
She mentioned in her complaint that her in-laws are the disciples of the god-woman.
Summons to six persons including the victim's in-laws were already issued. Now Radhe Maa was the seventh accused in the case.
