AAP women MLA attacked
New Delhi/Hyderabad, August 9: Unidentified persons attacked Chandni Chowk MLA and Aam Aadmi Party leader Alka Lamba on Sunday during an anti-drug drive.
The law maker held a rally demanding a ban on ***** in New Delhi. When the rally reached north Delhi kashmere Gate area, unidentified miscreants hurled stones at the MLA and others. Alka received severe head injuries and others were also injured.
The MLA was rushed to Aruna Asaf Ali hospital. She was discharged after treatment.
Later, MLA Alka tweeted that 'I was attacked for fighting against *****. They attacked me and injured my head. But I will never back down. Will continue fight till the end.'
