New Delhi/Hyderabad, August 8: Often we come across advertisements of coaching on a variety of subjects in two, three weeks. But this is something new. Never heard of "Learn to steal in just two weeks" Coaching centres for thieves is a comedy scene in movies. But in Delhi, it is real. Delhi University graduate, Kharagpur (Uttar Pradesh) native Rajiv Sahani learnt about ATM thefts from his cellmate when he was in jail in 2011. He was jobless. He started an English coaching centre. He selected active students and lured them towards ATM thefts. First he will give them theory classes and later practical training by taking them to ATMs. His plan is - they will offer help to women and elders in drawing their money. After they enter their PIN number, Rajiv team members will insert a microchip or a pin in the keypad. The screen will become blank. The boys will tell them that the ATM machine is not working. After they leave the place, the boys will remove the microchip and draw the money. As his business is flourishing, he gave them first salaries and then shares also. Rajiv bought cars and sent thousands of rupees to his family. But in the last, police caught him and now Rajiv is behind the bars.
