HC directs Vodafone, Tata to submit call data

Hyderabad, Aug 07: The Hyderabad High Court today directed the Tata Tele Services and Vodafone to submit phone call data in a sealed cover in Vijayawada Chief Metropolitan Court . The court made it clear that the orders earlier issued to other service providers will be applicable to Vodafone and Tata Tele Services. The court deferred hearing in the case for four weeks. The HC also directed Vijayawada court to send the sealed covers to High Court Registrar through a messenger. Meanwhile, Telangana Home Department filed a writ petition in HC against the phone-tapping cases filed at Satyanarayanapuram Police Station in Vijayawada.
