Airtel may rise voice call rates
Hyderabad, August 7: Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company hinted at increasing the voice call rates. India and South Asia Company MD and CEO Gopal Vittal said they are considering to decrease discounts and increase the call rate. The data rates were increased a few months ago as needed and now we have to increase the voice call rates also, he added. Now the voice realization as per discount is 30-33 paise per minute and the call rates are 90 paise. There is a wide gap between these two, which made us to think about rates hike, Gopal explained.
