Jagan visits viral fever-affected village

Vijayawada, Aug 04: YSRCP chief and Leader of Opposition in AP Assembly YS Jaganmohan Reddy today visited the Kothamajeru village in Krishna district. So far 18 persons died of viral fevers in the village in the past several months. Jagan came down heavily on the Health Minster Kamineni Srinivas for not taking steps to contain viral fevers. Neither the CM nor Health Minister visited village till now and it indicates the callousness of government, he added. The locals poured out their woes to Jagan and alleged that government has failed to realise the gravity of the situation. Jagan opined that deaths could have been prevented if the Minister had visited the village.
