25 out of 29 Hyd High Court judges are from AP: TRS MP

Delhi, Aug 04: Twenty-five out of 29 Hyderabad High Court judges are from Andhra Pradesh, said TRS MP Jithender Reddy during a discussion in Lok Sabha today. He said that injustice was being meted out due to poor representation of Telangana origin people in the judiciary. Jithender Reddy said that there were provisions for separate High Court in the Reorganisation Act. Delaying the High Court bifurcation is nothing but a violation of constitution, he added. He pointed out that separate High Courts were set up within week after the bifurcation of Chattisgarh, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand states. He urged the Centre to expedite the High Court bifurcation process.
