Musunuru MRO gets threat letter

Musunuru(Krishna), Aug 04: Musunuru MRO Vanajakshi received death threat from unidentified persons. She received the threat letter on Monday. The assailants warned that they have conducted recce two times at the MRO's house. According to the letter, the assailants received a 'supari' to kill the MRO. On the basis of complaint lodged by the MRO, police registered a case and started investigation. It may be noted that the MRO was allegedly assaulted by the followers of TDP MLA Chintamaneni Prabhkar for stopping sand mining at quarry. Revenue officials staged state-wide protests over the attack and the government appointed a committee headed by senior IAS officer JC Sharma to probe the incident.
