Rishiteswari death: Remand extended for accused

Vijayawada, July 31: A local court here extended the judicial remand of three accused arrested in connection with the suicidal death of Acharya Nagarjuna University B Arch first year student Rishiteswari. The accused were arrested on July 16 and the court today extended the custody till August 14. Meanwhile, the high-level committee constituted to inquire into the suicidal death, continued its probe on the third day. Rishiteswari's parents today met HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao in Vijayawada and urged him to take action on those responsible for the incident. The Minister assured that nobody would be spared if found guilty.
