ACB begins voice sample collection in cash-for-vote scam

Hyderabad, July 31: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials have began collection of voice samples of the accused in cash-for-vote scam. On Wednesday and Thursday the officials sent notices to HMTV and Studio N Channels under section 91 of CrPC asking them to provide the video footage of the accused Sebastian's interview to the media. The officials already issued notices to TV 9 and obtained footage copy of the interview with Mathias Jerusalem. A requisition was sent to Telangana Assembly Speaker through Court for obtaining speech records of the TDP MLAs Revanth Reddy and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah. Sources said that ACB will send all the transcripts of calls recorded on Sebastian's phone to forensic lab for authentication.
