I will not endorse fairness products: Anushka

Mumbai, July 30: Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has announced that she would not endorse fairness products. Addressing the media at an event here yesterday, Anushka said that she would never endorse fairness creams and other products that propagate fair skin. According to Anushka, fairness creams promote racist beliefs and social taboo on dark complexion. "I will not propagate any thing that says this is right or wrong," she added. The 27-year-old actress was appointed as brand ambassador of Pantene brand hair care products owned by FMCG major Proctor & Gamble. Bollywood actors Aamir Khan and Kangana Ranaout turned down offers to endorse fairness creams.
