Jagan warns of intensifying agitation

Anantapur, July 27: YSRCP chief and Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly YS Jagahmohan has warned of intensifying agitation for special status to AP. Speaking to the reporters here, Jagan said that the party will stage a dharna in Delhi if the Centre failed to honour its promise on special status . He toured Madakasira segment in the district on the seventh day of Rythu Bharosa padayatra today. He alleged that Chandrababu utterly failed in fulfilling poll promises. He regretted that farmers were committing suicides as their crop loans were not waived. He demanded Rs 5 lakh compensation to the kin of the farmers who had committed suicides. It may be noted that Jagan already staged a two-day deeksha at Mangalagiri and met Union Home and Finance Ministers four times on special status issue.
