TS felicitates AP sanitation staff

Bhadrachalam (Khammam), July 27: The Telangana government has felicitated Andhra Pradesh sanitary workers. About 450 sanitary workers from East Godavari district were deputed to carry out sanitation operations during the Godavari Puhskaralu at Bhadrachalam and others places in the district. Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao was impressed by their service and directed the district administration to distribute dhotis and sarees. District Collector K Ilambarithi distributed clothes to the sanitation workers at a programme held in town yesterday. The Collector said that administrative machinery worked with dedication for successfully organising the pushkaralu. He commended the police officials for streamlining traffic and conducting the festivities without any untoward incident.
