Union Home ministry tells TS to take back AP-native staff
Hyderabad, July 25: Stating that it was unreasonable to remove Andhra Pradesh-origin employees from Telangana power utilities, the Central Home Ministry directed the Telangana State government to revoke the sack orders of all the relieved employees immediately.
AP government Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao in his letter to the Centre stated that the one-sided decision of Telangana power utilities removing the Andhra-origin employees was not justifiable.
Fully supporting his decision, the Centre had issued letters on Friday to both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments in this regard.
The union government stated that due to State bifurcation, either Kamalanathan committee or power utilities of both the States jointly should take up the employees' division after June 2, 2014. And suggested the implementation of the agreement made in the presence of Central Home Ministry Additional Secretary on March 20 this year.
