Court okays Sandra's visit to Pushkaralu
Hyderabad, July 23: Telugu Desam party Sattupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, accused in cash-for-vote case, was allowed to attend Godavari Pushkaralu.
The MLA filed a petition in the court seeking permission to attend Pushkaralu and the court posted its verdict to July 23.
Sandra was the fifth accused in the cash-for-vote scam where TDP MLA Revanth Reddy was caught red handed while giving Rs 50,000 lakh bribe to nominated MLA Stephenson. The court granted Sandra conditional bail. The court ordered him not to go out of Sattupalli.
In this context, he appealed the court for permission to take holy dip for the Pushkaralu. The court granted permission as the ACB officials also said they do not have any objection to this.
