Telangana not facing financial crisis: Minister
Hyderabad, July 22: Finance Minister Etela Rajender today denied that there was a financial crisis in the State. He refuted the reports on financial crisis in the state.
Speaking to the reporters here, Etela said that Telangana state stands next to Gujarat in terms of economic indicators. He quoted RBI report to substantiate his claims.
Etela said that the state faced some problems as RBI diverted Rs 1,200 crore to Income Tax department. He said that government fulfilled all its promises in the first year. He informed that revenue collection in the state increased when compared to previous year. He said that employment notifications will be soon issued to fill vacant posts in various departments.
