Don't compare Hyderabad with Amaravathi: KCR

Hyderabad, July 22: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has flayed a section of politicians for comparing Amaravathi with Hyderabad. Addressing the gathering at Daasarathi Krishmacharyulu birth anniversary celebrations here, KCR asked the politicians to develop Amaravathi and refrain from comparing it with Hyderabad. KCR warned politicians against criticizing Telagnana culture. In a veiled reference to Chandrababu's statement that NTR habituated Hyderabad people to rise early, KCR challenged the former to compete in development of State. Noted writer C Narayana Reddy and others were present. KCR said that Daasarathi's literary works will motivate the future generations to work for the development of the state. He presented an award to Tirumala Srinivasacharya on this occasion.
