Chandrababu bars Ministers, MPs from speaking to English media

Hyderabad, July 21: TDP supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has barred his Cabinet colleagues and the party MPs from speaking to English and taking part in debates conducted by English TV channels, due to their lack of fluency in English language. The CM directed the Guntur MP Galla Jayadev to speak to national English media in New Delhi. He asked his advisers to identify the party leaders who can present the party views and opinions in English. The instructions were issued following Municipal Minister P Narayana and IT Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy's embarrassing gaffes while speaking to the media on Rajahmundry stampede in which 29 persons were killed.
