Prisoners instilled confidence in me: Revanth

Hyderabad, July 20: TDP MLA Revanth Reddy has said that prisoners motivated him to fight against the autocratic rule of KCR. He gave an interview to a Telugu news channel in his home at Kodangal in Mahbubnagar district. He said that people were intelligent than rulers. He said that people were of the opinion that TRS government was making every effort to suppress TDP since the inception of the state. The prisoners poured out their woes to Revanth who was remanded at Cherlapally jail for few days. Discontent is brewing over KCR rule and instead of tackling it, the government is targeting the opposition leaders and the media, Revanth Reddy alleged. He refused to comment on the cash-for-vote scam on the pretext that it would help the government to cover goof ups.
