Man held for molesting, murdering 14 children

Delhi, July 20: A 24-year-old youth was arrested by the Delhi police for allegedly raping and killing 14 teenage children in the city and National Capital Region (NCR) since 2008. The accused Ravinder hails from Uttar Pradesh and he used to lure both boys and girls with chocolates or money. He takes the victims to isolated places and rapes them before murdering. The police started investigation on the basis of missing complaint lodged by the parents of six-year-old girl. The girls body was found in an isolated house on the outskirts of the city. A driving license found near the victim's body helped to nab the accused. The licence holder informed the police that the accused had forcibly taken his driving license and bike and fled. The police arrested Ravinder Kumar at Kanjhawala area in the city. Ravinder used to dump the bodies in drains or bury them in fields. The incident reminds of Nithari incident in which many children were murdered by Surender Kohli.
