No exchange of sweets between Indian-Pak armies

Hyderabad, July 18: The traditional exchange of sweets between the troops of Indian and Pakistan along the Attari-Wagah border in Punjab on Eid hadn't taken place this year. Severe tense situations are prevailing in the wake of incidents like violation of ceasefire agreement, Pakistan army blasting the drone alleging that it was an Indian spy drone entered into their country and other. Border Security Force Deputy Inspector General MF Farooqui said that they consulted their counterparts about the sweets exchange but didn't get positive response. "Hence, we refrained from following this tradition," he added.
