Jagan feigns ignorance about investments

Hyderabad, July 17: YSRCP chief and Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly YS Jaganmohan Reddy is said to have claimed that he was not aware about investments in his companies. He is reported to have said his auditor, Vijaya Sai Reddy, used to look after the business matters. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has revealed this information in the prosecution report that was submitted to the ED Special court. The report carried Jagan’s replies to ED’s questions on his business partners, foreign companies, Deloitte report, friends and business deals. As per the content of the report, Jagan did not know the details of some persons like Potluri Vara Prasad, who invested in the group. Similarly, Jagan said that he knew Nimmagadda Prasad and Penna Prathap Reddy. He informed the officials that Nimmagadda Prasad invested Rs 847.50 crore in Jagathi Publications and Bharathi Cements.
