TDP MLA Sandra gets bail

Hyderabad, July 14: The Anti-Corruption Bureau special court here granted bail to TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, who was arrested in cash-for-vote scam. The court granted conditional bail and asked the MLA not move out of his constituency. Sandra has been asked to furnish a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh for bail. Sandra is representing Sattupalli Assembly constituency in Khammam district. It may be noted that the other accused in the case, TDP MLA Revanth Reddy, Sebastian and Udaya Simha were arrested and released on bail. The ACB arrested the MLA after questioning him for seven hours on July 6. The ACB produced records of phone call conversations between Sandra and the other accused Sebastain, in the court.
