Hyderabad: The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) will organise a one-day program on “Understanding Online Platforms for Exporters (DGFT, GST & Customs, RBI & ECGC)” in Hyderabad on September 11, 2026, with the support of UCO Bank.
The program will familiarise new and existing exporters with government digital platforms and services used in export-import procedures, with a focus on providing participants practical exposure to their functioning.
Experts will conduct live demonstrations covering Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) registration and services, Importer Exporter Code (IEC), Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC), ICEGATE, Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP), Rebate of State and Central Taxes and Levies (RoSCTL), Trade Connect, RBI EDMP/IDMPS and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC) online services.
A subject expert will demonstrate the functioning of the respective online portals, while senior ECGC officials will participate in the program and explain the services available to exporters.
“The program is designed to go beyond theoretical discussions, with participants getting an opportunity to understand the actual functioning of relevant online portals. The live demonstrations are expected to help exporters, particularly new entrepreneurs and businesses entering international trade, navigate digital processes more efficiently and comply with regulatory requirements,” said Unnikrishnan K., Joint Director General, FIEO.
The initiative is intended to provide exporters with practical exposure to digital processes associated with international trade and help participants understand the online systems relevant to export-import procedures.
