AP Revenue employees firm on demands
Hyderabad, July 10: Andhra Pradesh Revenue Employees Association has warned the government that protests would be continued till action is initiated on the accused involved in attack on Musunuru MRO Vanajakshi.
Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswar Rao today held discussions with the employees who were protesting against assault on the MRO and other officials. The employees’ association president Venkatesh demanded the government to arrest Denduluru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar. He said that Chandrababu spoke to victim over phone and assured to resolve the issue by Monday.
Devineni said that government directed Krishna and West Godavari SPs and Collectors to furnish a report on the incident. Chief Minister would discuss about the issue with Revenue employees on Monday, he added.
