Naidu seeks de-notification of forest lands

New Delhi/Hyderabad, July 10: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu met Central Ministers Piyush Goyal and Prakash Javdekar at Delhi on Friday. Later, speaking to the media, Naidu said forest lands were needed for capital construction and Javdekar told them of de-notifying the forest lands. On this occasion, he lauded the farmers that they have given their lands voluntarily for the capital city. Central Minister Javdekar assured of extending full cooperation for AP government. The Central government is ready to de-notify forest lands needed for the AP capital city. The clearance process for the projects would be speed up, he added. Central Ministers Sujana Chowdary and Ashok Gajapati Raju, AP government special representative at Delhi Kambhampati Rammohan Rao, MPs Kesineni Nani and Konakalla Narayana were among those who took part in the meetings.
