Chiranjeevi tells Pawan Kalyan: Your words took me back to the most precious chapters of our lives!
Hyderabad, Aug 22 : Moved by the heart touching birthday post put out by his younger brother and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Megastar Chiranjeevi on Saturday responded to the post, saying that Pawan Kalyan's words had taken him back to the most precious chapters of their lives and had left him deeply emotional.

In a post on his X timeline, Chiranjeevi, who celebrates his birthday on Saturday, wrote, "My dear Kalyan Babu, Your words took me back to the most precious chapters of our lives and left me deeply emotional. What you remember as my love and sacrifice was simply my responsibility and affection as your Annayya (elder brother)"

Chiranjeevi further wrote, "Today, seeing your unwavering courage, commitment to the people and love for our Bharat, I feel immensely proud. You have become a source of strength and inspiration to millions."

He went on to say, "You call me your Hero, but your determination, honesty and selfless journey have inspired me in countless ways too. Thank you for this beautiful gift of memories, Kalyan Babu. Your love is one of the greatest blessings of my life. Love you always @PawanKalyan."

For the unaware, actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Saturday penned a heartfelt note on their childhood together and said that his elder brother Chiranjeevi had always been a hero for him, even before he became a hero in films.

On the occasion of Chiranjeevi's birthday on Saturday, Pawan Kalyan took to his Instagram page to pen a heartfelt note.

He wrote, "A thought about Annaya @chiranjeevikonidela is always a source of joy. While I walk along the memory lane on this special day, these are few memories I have (s)tumbled upon."

"In our childhood, he went away from home to pursue his college education in Narsapur. And his homecoming for summer holidays was a festive season. A big pain and disappointment used to follow when he used to go back for his college. We all used to miss his absence and feel the vacuum. Home was never vibrant till he was back," Pawan Kalyan said.

"In my school days, just walking beside him was a proud moment. I used to feel like I am walking with the world's most important person; by then, he was just in college. When he used to ride my father’s bike (Bullet - 350 cc) with his curly long hair, fit NCC Cadet body with bell bottoms and glasses - oh! it was an absolutely fanboy and hero-worshipping moment," Pawan Kalyan disclosed and added, "My Annaya was always a Hero for me even before he became a Hero."

The Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister further said, "In the early days of his film career, he brought a big blue bag from his first Singapore trip. In that blue bag I found my first tiny Lego helicopter, few remote cars, racing track, some comics, music tapes, tape recorder, scented Yardley Co. powders, soaps, few perfumes and other small gifts to others. He always brought joy and smiles into our small home."

Stating that when Chiranjeevi got married, he was worried that he would be away from them, Pawan Kalyan said that the thought made him cry. "...I was crying silently in a room. Then he brought my Vadina (sister-in-law) and said, 'Come, I will introduce you to a big man (Pedda Manishi) today'.' They both were laughing while they found the reason for my tears."

Pawan Kalyan said that he didn’t have enough words to describe the love and care his brother and his sister-in-law showered on him in the following years when was taken to Chennai (then Madras) to stay with them.

"I had seen his struggle, hard work and injuries in shoots. Everyday he used to reach home in the middle of the night after 18 hours shift of laborious work in his sweat-drenched costumes and shoes in Chennai’s heat and humidity; with hardly any strength to stand… I used to feel guilty for living off on his hard work and sacrifice. But he never even uttered a word about my academic failures and lack of direction in my life," he wrote.

Disclosing that Chiranjeevi was a tech-savvy person, Pawan Kalyan had said that he also had astounding medical knowledge. Pointing out that despite his phenomenal achievements Chiranjeevi never rested, Pawan Kalyan said, "After a major spinal operation recently, he bounces back within no time with his strength training and goes back to work. Like a city never sleeps, he’s a man who never rests. He’s born with an unstoppable motor within. That’s why he’s become our beloved ‘Mega Star’ and my only Hero."

The Deputy Chief Minister had concluded the post saying, "Let ‘Mother Nature’ provide you my dear Annaya abundant health, super strength and astounding victories on your life path. Wishing my Annaya on his birthday is not a formality but a gentle reminder to many like me ; how his life has impacted, influenced and transformed millions like me to build a better future and to lay a stronger foundation for the land of Bharath -we all adore and worship. Jai Hind !! #HBDMegastarChiranjeevi."
