OU ranked no 1 State university in India
Hyderabad, July 9: Osmania University, Hyderabad, has been ranked first among the State universities in the country and fifth among all the universities in the country according to India Today-Nielsen survey. The University is also ranked no 1 in South India pushing back Hyderabad Central University (HCU) and other State Universities. The ranking was done on the basis of the university’s past reputation, faculty, research publications, innovations, administration, resources, infrastructure, admission process, placements and other facilities. Osmania University is the largest affiliated university in Asia with 1000 colleges and 5,50,000 students and it offers 127 courses in various disciplines.
