President returns to Delhi after southern sojourn

Hyderabad, July 8: President Pranab Mukherjee returned to Delhi on Wednesday after a 10-day southern sojourn. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana joint Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan, Andhra Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, his cabinet colleagues and senior officials saw him off at Hakimpet Air Force Station. Telangana assembly Speaker Madhusudhan Chary and council chairman Swami Goud were also present. Mukherjee, who arrived here on June 29, stayed at Rashtrapati Nilayam at Bollarum in Secunderabad. During his stay, he also visited Tirumala temple in Andhra Pradesh and Yadadri temple in Telangana. He also attended a couple of programmes in Hyderabad.
