How ACB obtained phone call data of Sebastian, Sandra

Hyderabad, July 7: The ACB officials today presented the phone conversations between TDP MLA Sandra and Sebastian, before the court. In the remand report submitted to the court (the copies of the remand report are available with various media organisations), the ACB officials informed the court that phones of the accused were not tapped. According to the report, Sebastian, one of the accused in the case, used HTC smartphone which has auto record option to record phone conversations. The officials are yet to ascertain whether Sebastian intentionally selected the option or it was accidentally selected. The ACB officials seized the phone during the arrest of Sebastian and noticed that 32 phone conservations between Sandra and Sebastian from May 27 to 30 were recorded in the phone. The arrest was based on the phone conversation. Of the 32 recorded conversations, Sandra dialed 24 times and Sebastian dialed 8 times. The call data analysis revealed that key meetings were held at NTR Trust Bhavan and Chandrababu’s residence. Interrogation of Sandra’s driver P Lachhu, a police constable, revealed important information. Lachhu informed the officials that about the whereabouts of Sandra before and after arrest of Revanth Reddy. It may be noted that the complainant Stephenson recorded his conversations with MLA Revanth Reddy and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu.
