But of late, after buffets, desserts etc entered the scene, the paans went backstage. But celebrities and rich families are still sticking to this paan culture. They are providing specially made paans to their guests. Most of these people are giving their orders to a paanwala in Rajasthan. That is Annu Mobile Paan Bhandar, run by Heera Diswani. The latest hero to gave order to this shop is Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor who will tie the knot tomorrow. The shop owner Heera said that Shahid Kapoor's wedding planners came here and tasted their paan and gave orders for the wedding. They are preparing a special 'Khajoor paan' with dry fruits, rose, gulkan and other ingredients for the occasion, he added. He had supplied paans for the wedding of Naina Bachchan, daughter of Amitab Bachchan's brother, Kareena Kapoor etc.
