TDP seeks cancellation of Jagan’s bail

Hyderabad, July 5: Senior TDP leader Varla Ramaiah has urged the CBI Court to cancel bail of YSRCP chief and leader of Opposition in Assembly YS Jaganmohan Reddy and auditor Vijaya Sai Reddy. Ramaiah’s comments assumed significance as CBI reportedly encrypted some documents and e-mails in which Vijaya Sai Reddy used ‘Tonnes’ and ‘Stock’ words. Sources said that the two words refer to crores. In the e-mails Vijaya Sai Reddy informed Dalmiya Cements officials that 3,500 tonnes of stock was received and requested them to send another 500 tonnes. But as per the company records Vijaya Sai Reddy did not procure cement or iron from the company. It may be noted that Jagan secured bail in disproportionate assets case.
