Hifi bus for Naidu also

Hyderabad, July 4: After Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao now it is the turn of AP counterpart Chandrababu Naidu to go for a special bullet-proof bus. The bus is being readied in Chandigarh. The bus can withstand land mines, gun shots etc. The bus will run up to 30 to 50 km distance even if the tyres burst after being hit by bullets. There will be a special seat for the CM in the front and two security officers can sit behind him. Arrangements are made to accommodate sitting for two to three persons along with them. In the middle of the bus, an office area with a special seat for the CM and sofas to accommodate six to seven persons. After that, personal room for Naidu in which a revolving chair is to be set up for taking a nap in the afternoons and a bed to sleep in the night. Bathroom is located at the rear end of the bus. There will be TV, internet, fax, wifi, printer and other facilities in the bus. The bus length was less compared to other buses, which was done to make it easy for the bus to travel on single roads also. With all these facilities, its maker Mercedes Benz is going to charge the State exchequer a whopping Rs 5.5 crore. The special bus also attracted opposition parties criticism. Leaders of other parties questioned, how he (Naidu) could spend such amount when he is shedding crocodile tears towards farmers that he has no finances to waive off their loans.
