At last, Revanth breathes fresh air
Hyderabad, July 1: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court has accepted the personal bond submitted by TDP leader Revanth Reddy and directed the Cherlapalli jail officials to release him. Following which Revanth came out of the jail after 5 pm today.
Advocates on behalf of Revanth Reddy filed a correction petition in High Court on Wednesday morning due to some technical mistakes in the bail order.
The High Court after inquiring into the petition declared that the personal bond should be submitted in ACB court only. It corrected the verdict copy also, which the ACB court will receive any time now.
With this, Revanth Reddy would be released from the jail any time from now.
After hearing the news of his release, several party leaders and activists came to the Cherlapally jail to give a grand welcome to their leader.
