Hyderabad, July 1: The English magazine Outlook was slapped with a legal notice by Telangana government and an IAS officer Mrs Smita Sabharwal, Additional Secretary in the CMO, for publishing a derogatory cartoon against the officer. A cartoon was published in the Outlook magazine, showing Smitha as doing the ramp walk in jeans and T-shirt while TS Chief Minister KCR photographing her and other Ministers watching. Smita's advocate Rachana Reddy in her legal notice demanded the magazine authorities to apologize, a detailed one to be published in the same magazine. If the magazine authorities fail to act in the stipulated period of 15 days, then the advocate said they will file both civil and criminal cases, which included defamation, damaged and criminal action. Responding on this, Smitha said she attended a private programme with her husband on the occasion of her birthday.
