Vice-Prez Ansari invited to Pushkarams

New Delhi/Hyderabad, July 1: Vice-President Hamid Ansari has been invited for the Godavari Pushkarams in Rajahmundry. On behalf of the Andhra Pradesh government, Endowment Minister P Manikyala Rao gave the invitation card to the Vice-President at Delhi on Tuesday. BJP leader Raghuram has accompanied the Minister. The Godavari Pushkarams will commence from July 14 at Rajahmundry. In this context, the government has decided to give official 'Nitya Aarti' at the pushkar ghat starting from today at 6.30 pm. AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu would give the first Aarti. The district administration made arrangements for the aarti to be given in between Havelock and arch bridge of Rajahmundry. The State government and Buddhavarapu Charitable Trust will jointly organise this Aarti.
