AP DGP bats for Section 8 in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, June 30: In an interesting development, Andhra Pradesh's Director General of Police JV Ramudu for the first time publicly said that Section 8 of the AP Reorganisation Act should be in operation in Hyderabad. Stating that since there is a need, he was demanding the invoking of Section 8 in Hyderabad. Speaking to media persons in Visakhapatnam today, he his team of officers were gathering vital clues and evidences in the phone tapping case that is linked to the crucial cash-for-vote scam case. He, however, clarified that there is no interference from the Telangana police with reference to their investigations in the phone tapping case.
