IS beheads two women in Syria

Damascus, June 30: Islamic State (IS) militants beheaded two women in eastern Syria, the first beheading of women since the IS group came into existence in Syria, activists said on Tuesday. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based watchdog group, said the beheadings took place in the eastern province of Deir al-Zour near Iraq. The beheading of the two women was the first such incident since the IS declared its "caliphate" in areas under its control in Syria a year ago, according to Xinhua news agency. The terrorist group has been meting out humiliating treatment to women, capturing Iraqi women from the Yazidi sect and selling them as ***** slaves in Iraq and Syria.
