Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu Emphasizes Inclusive Growth and Data-Driven Governance at Tirupati Workshop
The workshop is being held as part of the state’s ambitious Swarna Andhra-2047 vision document.Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister said his government’s priority is to ensure that economic growth translates into improved living standards for ordinary citizens. He cited the real-life examples of Tulashamma and Padmamma from Gudur, whose families benefited from government pensions and DWACRA self-help group loans, highlighting how welfare schemes have helped them achieve economic stability.Visionary Leadership and Future Preparedness
Recalling his government’s pioneering Vision 2020 document, Naidu noted that it faced heavy criticism at the time, but proved far-sighted as it anticipated the IT revolution and the massive opportunities it would create in the services sector. He also referenced former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s strong belief in the need for a national vision document.
“Data is the real wealth of the future. All future decisions will be data-driven,” Naidu asserted. The Chief Minister reiterated that good governance involves not only efficient public service delivery but also attracting private investments. He said the Swarna Andhra-2047 vision gives high priority to private capital. Key initiatives mentioned include:
Creating a unified Data Lake integrating information from all government departments.
The Sanjeevani project for complete digitization of health records.
The innovative P4 (Public-Private-People’s Partnership) programme to encourage successful individuals to give back to society and reduce the rich-poor divide.
Major Announcement: Quantum Computing in Amaravati
During an interactive session, Naidu announced that a Quantum Computer will soon be set up in Amaravati. He expressed confidence that Andhra Pradesh will also develop the capability to manufacture quantum computers in the future.
He urged the youth to think about what they can give back to the nation rather than what the nation has given them, and stressed the need for continuous innovation in policies and technology.
