Pawan Kalyan Delays Shoulder Surgery to Complete Official Duties as Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM

Actor-turned-politician and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has been advised by doctors to undergo immediate shoulder surgery for a severe injury but has decided to postpone the procedure until he completes all official government responsibilities.

According to medical reports from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai, where Pawan Kalyan underwent detailed examinations on Monday along with his wife Anna Lezhneva, the actor-politician has suffered significant damage to the rotator cuff and two major muscles in his arms. Doctors have strongly recommended prompt surgical intervention due to the severity of the injury.

Pawan Kalyan, who has been experiencing persistent arm pain for quite some time, clarified that he will prioritize his administrative duties and pre-scheduled state government programs. “It is my duty to complete the official responsibilities and government programs that have already been scheduled. I will undergo the surgery only after fulfilling these commitments,” he stated.

The injury reportedly troubled him even during the intense election campaign period. Despite the discomfort, the Jana Sena Party chief has chosen to put public service before personal health concerns at this juncture.
