Exporters and Startups Invited to FIEO Training Programme in Hyderabad
The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) will conduct a two-day certificate programme titled “Export Opportunities and How to Start an Export Business” in Hyderabad on June 18 and 19, 2026, for aspiring exporters and business professionals seeking to strengthen their export-related knowledge and skills. The programme is being supported by ICICI Bank.
The training programme will be held at Hotel Quality Inn Residency in Nampally, Hyderabad. Sessions will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both days, with participant registration beginning at 9:30 a.m.
According to the organisers, the programme aims to equip participants with practical skills required to succeed in international trade and help them build their global business capabilities. It is designed for individuals planning to enter the export sector as well as experienced business professionals who wish to update their understanding of export-import documentation and procedures.
The programme will cover a wide range of topics, including export registrations, the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) and related schemes, export incentives, export finance, product selection and market research, ITC-HS classification, methods and tools for identifying international buyers, international commercial terms, payment methods in international trade including Letters of Credit, export packaging and labelling standards, free trade agreements and recent developments, GST fundamentals and refund procedures, FEMA regulations related to exports and imports, credit risk management in international trade, and the role of Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) and FIEO in supporting exporters.
Senior officials and experts from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), GST and Customs departments, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), ECGC, the Indian Institute of Packaging, the Department of Posts, and the banking sector are expected to participate and address the programme.
Participants who complete the training will receive a certificate.
The participation fee has been fixed at ₹4,000 plus 18% GST for FIEO members and ₹5,000 plus 18% GST for non-members. The fee includes study material, lunch, tea and coffee.
FIEO has advised interested participants to register in advance through its website or the Niryat Mitra mobile application. As seats are limited, admissions will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
